General asking: what is the best writing form about the "other comics" subject included in one Phantom issue (for instance “Tim Tyler’s Luck” or “Johnny Hazard” stories and so on). Is it worth to mention those comics? And if yes, in which manner exactly? (with the complete name of the story or without ?) (for instance "Le petit prince triste” and "Le mystère des Caraïbes” like in that present case of Mandrake stories or without these titles?). I would be interested to know the exact common rule. 171.18.2.101 15:09, 26 August 2008 (CEST)
- So far we have only included what comic it is, not the name of the story. Any other sort of comics have been included, even if it only is a half-page long. An example of this could be viewed in Fantomen 4/2000. Karl MAN--130.236.60.37 16:25, 26 August 2008 (CEST)
- I might add that the reason for this is that it is of course interesting to know if an issue is "Phantom-only" or if it also includes other comics, but since this is a Phantom wiki we don't aim for any specific details regarding these back-up comics. Andreas 16:34, 26 August 2008 (CEST)
- That's right, it's seems to be a logical reason, too much details on others comics would be too far from the Wiki objective, unless that just one exception might be done as far as Mandrake the Magician is concerned. In such a case, I think a specific information could be also useful to the Lee Falk's "afficionados" (...?....).171.18.2.82 10:03, 27 August 2008 (CEST)
- I might add that if some issue is not published in English, we first give the foreign name of the story and then the English within brackets, then the writer(s) and artist(s). If you have the Italian names of the stories for I classici del Fumetto di Republica 15, 171.18.2.101, you may add them as I have instructed, also demonstrated in articles like Fantomen 4/2000, since I do not have access to them. I have already tried to make the article more adapted to our formats, a tip that I have when adding articles is that all daily and Sunday stories are listed here, as is the Team Fantomen stories, so it is just to search for the name and you will in most cases find the correct story. - Thanks for your new details as they will be useful for next planned articles. Please note there were not specific Italian titles in the book I classici del Fumetto di Republica 15 as all the 14 stories succeeded one after one as a whole and sole continuity even if the mention "new adventure coming next week" still remained written in the last panel of the strories. At the opposite side of that, in another Italian similar (but more modest) concept book also called "L'uomo mascherato" (collection "I giganti del fumetto") each story had an Italian title, so when I am going to write an article about it, I will first cite the Italian title and then the original American title within brackets.
