I have noted that you at more than one occasion have nominated a cover for deletion and then uploaded a new version of it, most recently with File:PZ 1942.jpg. I have taken that as that you mean that the quality of the image was bad and in need of replacement, hence I have removed the deletion nomination at every such occasion as a new version was uploaded. If I have been wrong here, then please inform me about it.

However, I would like to point out that there already exists a maintenance template that is meant to be attached to images that are in need of better version. If that is your intentions, then please use it instead and then remove it after a new version has been uploaded. The template is Template:Replaceimage. Karl MAN 11:22, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

--Yes, you are right. My bad. Delboj4 11:39, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

You only have to add 'border' to a cover/image that has a white edge, like Fantomen 17/1976. No need to overwork things.  ;-) MiGi 09:49, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

OK. I dind't know that before. Sorry. Delboj4 09:53, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Cover images

I noticed that when you recently created Phantom 98, you put up a name for an image that does not exist yet. Are you planning to upload it soon? If you have no intention of uploading the cover scan, then I think that we should put up the Template:Covermissing so that the article is marked as in need of a cover scan.

I also have a memory of encountering similar things in the recent months, i.e. issue articles with links to cover images that does not exists, and I think the same of them (I don't remember if you are responsible for all of their creations, but at least you are responsible for some). If you are planning to soon upload the covers, then it will only be extra work to put up the covermissing template, but if you don't, then I think it is important to put up the template. Karl MAN 20:04, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Yes, I'll upload them soon. In fact, some of them will be uploaded by MiGi after editing. I always use Template:Covermissing if I don't have cover scan. I could upload those covers when I added articles, but I think that's better wait for edit. Delboj4 20:09, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
OK! Karl MAN 22:45, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

O Herói 11

I understand, I'll see if tidy a scan of the cover, but do not know what name the article could have.Quiof (talk) 21:31, 11 January 2014 (CET)

This cover is different what I expected. We will see if should change article name. That could be something like this (talk) 23:22, 11 January 2014 (CET)

Hello, if you have a contact with the administrator of this wiki, here is a solution for the "proc_open disabled" issue

Solution for the "proc_open disabled" issue

In order to eliminate this error message you need to do ONE of the following things:

Remove the proc_open string from the disable_functions at php.ini* file
Ask your hosting provider to remove the string above if you don't have an access to the php.ini* file
Change hosting provider which allows the running of the proc_open function.
OK, I will forward message. Thanks. Delboj (talk) 09:20, 19 July 2017 (CEST)
Hello Delboj. Do you think the wiki will be fixed soon? It has been broken since possibly the end of May. Italianuser (talk) 11:58, 22 July 2017 (CEST)
I don't know. I have forwarded message to Adminstrator. Delboj (talk) 12:09, 22 July 2017 (CEST)
The wiki was closed down because of a spam/hack attack. Some changes were made so we could restart the wiki again, but picture upload does not work yet. Our admin has a well-deserved summer vacation now so the solution will have to wait a little longer. Andreas (talk) 00:22, 23 July 2017 (CEST)
Thank you Andreas. I am sorry that the wiki was spammed and am glad it is mostly restarted. My regards to the admin and the picture upload can wait for now. Italianuser (talk) 02:21, 25 July 2017 (CEST)

Hi, thanks for your message.

I can see that many of the international covers are incomplete, and I'm trying to complete these gaps by finding the correct covers on the internet. I don't actually own any of these comics, but I'll keep contributing.

Also, is there a reason why you removed an example of a panel from "The Crown Jewels of Corba" story which I added? I was under the impression that additions of that sort were beneficial.

Yes, many covers are incomplete, but we didn't want add bad quality scans in some cases, if it's possible to find better scans. So, not all scans from internet sources good choice. Especially, don't add scans with watermarks, but also cuted scans like that one Italian uploaded by you aren't good.

About story panel, that's actually panel from "The Valley of No Return", and I moved that link there, it's not removed. But it looks as original artwork, I think that scans like that should be replaced with another edited scans. And in this case, I think that panel doesn't represent story very well. Delboj (talk) 14:47, 28 March 2018 (CEST)

Thank you for explaining. My mistake, I knew that panel was from the Valley of No Return. Cheers

Notable appearances

In the pages of some characters (like Joomba, Dave Plamer etc) the list given is of "Notable appearances". How do you normally decide which appearance is notable? In case of most of the characters the attempt seems to make the list of "all appearances". What is the policy of the wiki in this regard? I wanted to be sure before making any additions.Paramjitmann (talk) 11:33, 28 October 2018 (CET)
That was used for main characters, like Guran, Hero, and Devil, were they had featured most prominently. I am not sure what to do about Joomba, Dave Palmer, and etc. Delboj (talk) 11:35, 28 October 2018 (CET)

Zuran image

Hi. I thought my new image for Zuran (in the days of the 18th and 19th Phantom) was better than the earlier image I had uploaded. You seem to have deleted the new image. Any specific reasons? Just asking so that I know how to decide on such issues as per wiki norms. Paramjitmann (talk) 14:46, 16 November 2018 (CET)
Also where do you feel it would be more appropriate to add info about Diana's father. In Diana's page or Lily Palmer's page?Paramjitmann (talk) 14:51, 16 November 2018 (CET)
Diana's father should have a separate page. Andreas (talk) 15:13, 16 November 2018 (CET)
New image is renamed and deleted old image. Press CTRL + F5 to see changes. Delboj (talk) 15:15, 16 November 2018 (CET)
oh. Ok. Thanks.Paramjitmann (talk) 15:19, 16 November 2018 (CET)

Hi. Did Enrique Romero do any Phantom work?Paramjitmann (talk) 12:03, 16 February 2019 (CET)

Yes, from this week, he created new Comics Revue cover with The Phantom. Delboj (talk) 12:04, 16 February 2019 (CET)

Hi. How do I change the filename of an already uploaded image file?Paramjitmann (talk) 12:39, 23 February 2019 (CET)

You can't change name. Only administrators can change names. What should be done? Delboj (talk) 15:59, 23 February 2019 (CET)
Oh. I just wanted to upload Indrajal comics 182 english version cover with the usual filename indrajal182. But the issue page had Hindi language cover image with that name. So I thought of renaming hindi cover image with the name indrajal182hindi as usual. But could not. So if that could be changed then I can upload the english version cover with the name indrajal182.Paramjitmann (talk) 18:25, 23 February 2019 (CET)
MiGI solved that. Delboj (talk) 09:49, 24 February 2019 (CET)

Dynamite Issues

Hi. You have created nearly all of the pages for the issues of King: The Phantom, Kings Quest and Flash Gordon: Kings Cross. Editor mentioned is Joseph Rybandt. While Rybandt does happen to be the senior editor for Dynamite, all these issues prominently declare Nate Cosby to be the editor for these issues. Do you think one should change the editor part in the pages?Paramjitmann (talk) 12:18, 17 March 2019 (CET)

OK. I think that I added that regarding to info in impressum, but if you think that should be changed, you can do it. Delboj (talk) 12:23, 17 March 2019 (CET)

Gold Key Comics

Hi. I have made a page on Gold Key Comics but it requires a redirect to 'Gold Key' also and I dont know how to do it.Paramjitmann (talk) 13:49, 19 March 2019 (CET)

You can put #redirectGold Key Comics to page content. Delboj (talk) 13:52, 19 March 2019 (CET)
Thanks.Paramjitmann (talk) 14:21, 19 March 2019 (CET)

Cover articles

Hi. Some covers have cover articles and some do not. Any criterion as to which cover should have cover article and which should not? Paramjitmann (talk) 11:27, 18 April 2019 (CEST)

Articles for all of original covers should be created, but you needn't add similar covers to existed articles. Delboj (talk) 13:49, 18 April 2019 (CEST)
Just for clarification. Original cover means the cover which appeared on an issue for the first time. For example the cover by Shehab on Indrajal Comics 350 would be taken as an original cover. Is that correct interpretation? Paramjitmann (talk) 15:39, 18 April 2019 (CEST)
Yes. And if there is similar cover you can add informations like this one Delboj (talk) 15:41, 18 April 2019 (CEST)
Thanks a ton. Paramjitmann (talk) 15:42, 18 April 2019 (CEST)
Can you have a look at the new page, Indrajal Comics 1 cover, and see if any change or amendment is required as per wiki guidelines? Paramjitmann (talk) 17:36, 18 April 2019 (CEST)
I've made a minor change. Delboj (talk) 18:31, 18 April 2019 (CEST)
Thanks. Paramjitmann (talk) 18:32, 18 April 2019 (CEST)

Why deletion of Frew 853A?Paramjitmann (talk) 13:14, 1 May 2019 (CEST)

Because I think that we shouldn't upload images with any watermark, like that one in bottom right corner. Delboj (talk) 13:17, 1 May 2019 (CEST)
OK. Got it.Paramjitmann (talk) 13:19, 1 May 2019 (CEST)

Hi. On the tribes of Bangalla page Sengali tribe is listed as created by Fratelli Spada. The 1965 Gold Key story by Bill Lignante mentions this tribe. Was Sengali created earlier by Spada or is Lignante story the first one to mention it? Paramjitmann (talk) 15:42, 24 July 2019 (CEST)

I don't know. I don't have all of old Fratelli Spada stories. I will see what I can to find. Delboj (talk) 10:16, 25 July 2019 (CEST)

Cover articles

Thanks for correcting Fantom (Kabanas-Hellas) cover articles. Paramjitmann (talk) 13:20, 29 December 2019 (CET)

Edits without summary

Please give reasons for your edits. A brief summary helps others understand your thinking. It also saves a lot of extra time and effort on the part of other contributors. Mars (talk) 20:36, 03 December 2023 (AEST)

I can't see any reason for article named "Africa". We have articles about countries from the Phantom Universe, but not about continents, and it should be removed. Delboj (talk) 12:43, 3 December 2023 (CET)
Then remove the link, not the entry. "Africa" makes appearance and should be in the list. Okay, we don't need an article on the continent, so I have removed the link. Mars (talk) 22:09, 03 December 2023 (AEST)
I am not sure that Africa should be mentioned at all in these articles. We have never added Europe, North America, Asia, Africa... Delboj (talk) 13:14, 3 December 2023 (CET)
If continents or regions are named, especially repeatedly, they should be added in these articles, because that is the location significant to the plot. In The Whistleblower, for example, the plot theme was "African" rather than specific countries. Mars (talk) 13:20, 3 December 2023 (CET)
I disagree about. I am not sure that's good solution what you added more detailed informations in some articles. Delboj (talk) 13:40, 3 December 2023 (CET)
This is a wiki. On the main page it is called an encyclopedia. It should have all references. If that is not the point, then I do not understand. I will stop adding to articles and we can discuss in Bandar Village to clarify. Mars (talk) 13:50, 3 December 2023 (CET)
