G'day there,

I was born in Albury, Australia in 1981 and I guess you could say I've almost been raised on Phantom comics - Having received my first issue (Frew 835) at about the age of 4. From the late 1980s until the early 2000s, I was crazy about The Phantom character, and between 1998 and 2002 I ran The Ph@ntom website.

During my years at university (where I gained an IT degree) I stopped actively collecting, though did not discard my collection. I moved to Canberra in 2004 and finally pulled my issues out of storage in January 2008. Since then I've been slowly (ie, on and off) cataloguing, scanning, rebagging and reorganising them.

Apart from The Phantom, my main interest since 2000 has been researching the Second World War in the Pacific. I have been particularly interested in researching MIA (Missing in Action) cases, and this has led me to the jungles of Papua New Guinea on two occasions.
