The Phantom has been featured in several publications in Germany (or West Germany, prior to 1990). Currently, there are two regular Phantom publications.
Wick is currently publishing all the storys, which are painted by José María Ortiz Tafalla.
Zauberstern has so far published every other month a mixture of US, Australian, Swedish and sunday stories.

In addition, American magazine Overseas Weekly have been distributed and sold in Germany. It was a publication destined to the American forces in Europe (the main part of them were in Germany) and it included a comics supplement - like the usual American newspapers.
