The Phantom Annual Special is a subseries of Frew's The Phantom. It has been called many names (including Special, Collector's Special and Blockbuster), but Annual Special is the most frequently used on the covers.

History

It started in 1991, with the release of the actual 1000th issue.

The annual is typically over 200 pages and has a glued spine, and includes supplements such as replica issues.
