Fictional Character Biography
According to Team Fantomen
The 4th Phantom was born in 1604 to the 3rd Phantom and Rosamunda. Death's Hour
In his youth he went to school at Woolstone Monastery in England. The Forest of Horrors
He ran away from school like his father and intended to become a Maltese knight, but ended up as a slave for two years. The Pirates Prisoner
He swore the Oath of the Skull and acted as the Phantom when the 3rd Phantom was believed to have been killed by the medicine man Wambalu. But he could return to school when it turned out that the 3rd Phantom had not died. Wambalu the Witchman
He later became the Phantom in 1625, after his father was killed by a jungle tribe. The Hidden People

He married an English woman, with relatives in Nottingham, who died of childbirth in 1626 as she gave birth to the 5th Phantom. Plague Infected The Ring of Death, Part 1
After his wife's death he immersed himself in scientific studies and in 1632 received the title doctor of philosophy at the university of Oxford. Plague Infected
In 1631, the 4th Phantom lost the Skull Ring to Brother Capistrano of the Jesuit Order. He made a replica of the original ring in Leipzig. The Ring of Death, Part 1 He spent many years searching for the ring but never found it.
During his search for the Skull Ring, he met Cardinal Giovanni of the Catholic Church in Rome. The cardinal was actually a woman, and the two began a love affair. She was poisoned which also caused the death of their unborn child, a daughter, who was buried in the Skull Cave. Giovanna
