Nouveau Tintin was a French comic magazine which featured Phantom comics.

History

Nouveau Tintin was the third French comic magazine series dedicated to the comic strip "Tintin" by Hergé. The first comic magazine version was called Tintin and was published from 1948 to 1973. In 1974, the name was changed to Tintin l'hebdoptimiste and the numbering was restarted. In 1975 it changed name again, to Nouveau Tintin. The numbering was restarted again, although it also continued the old numbering from Tintin l'hebdoptimiste on the cover aswell.

A total of 690 issues were published from 1975 to 1988. The Phantom appears in only 7 issues at the beginning of the series. Unsold copies were later glued together with a new outer cover and sold as "albums". The first three albums contain the issues with "The Phantom" stories.
