First appearance: "The Patrolwomen"
Created by: Tony DePaul and Paul Ryan

Hawa was one of the first women to become members of the Jungle Patrol, along with her friend Kay.

Fictional Character Biography

Hawa and Kay were bored with their jobs: Hawa was a ticket-writing local cop and Kay was a waitress in a Mawitaan cafe.

After capturing a dangerous criminal, Hawa was admitted to the Jungle Patrol by a resentful Colonel Worubu. After enduring ridicule and harrassment, she became a skilled helicopter pilot.

She is a very likeable, extroverted character with lots of leadership potential. She dominates her big friend and is obsessed with finding out the identity of the Unknown Commander.

At one point ("Terror's Mutiny") she is fooled by two of Chatu's men into helping their plan to kidnap President Lamanda Luaga
