William Shakespeare (1564 –1616) was an English poet and playwright acknowledged by most to be the greatest writer in the English language.

The 3rd Phantom was sent to England for education but ran away from school in 1600 and joined Shakespeare's theatre in order to become an actor. Shakespeare hired him to do small jobs at the theatre. The 3rd Phantom started playing small roles also and soon graduated to playing Juliet in the opening performance of "Romeo and Juliet".
