Biography

At the early age of 17, he began his professional activity for RGE - Rio Gráfica Editora where he mainly draw covers, but in the sixties and when unpublished American production was no longer sufficient for the number of Brazilian issues, he even drawn (and apparently wrote) some Phantom stories.

His other best known work was for the "O Cavaleiro Negro" comics, Brazilian version of the American "Black Rider". He also has drawn "Zorro" for Abril in the seventies.

He sometimes just signed "Walmir" for RGE publications and "Amaral" for Saber publications.
