Umberto Sammarini (also known as USam and U. Sam.) is an Italian comic book artist.

Biography

His first work with the Phantom was in the late 1960's, when he provided the art for a handful of Phantom stories and Phantom covers for Fratelli Spada.

Since 1991 Sammarini has worked with Romano Felmang, inking some of Felmang's Team Fantomen stories. During the 2000's he was credited with several covers for the Swedish Fantomen comic book, but in fact he didn't contribute to any of these, but instead one cover for which he did not receive credit originally.
