Plot synopsis

Oyo has been an outcast of the Ibibo tribe since he was a young man and stole a sacred arrow from his tribe, an object that the tribe considered to be the guarantee of a prosperous future for the tribe. Diagnosed with a terminal form of cancer, he returns to his tribe in the Deep Woods. The tribe has fallen on hard times and Oyo intends to recover the magic arrow and bring it back to the Ibibo.
