"The Airplane Pirates" is a 1979 Team Fantomen story, written by Norman Worker, with art by Jaime Vallvé.
Plot synopsis
The Phantom and Diana, while on their way to the Walker's Table, saves a man from an airplane attack, in the Arizona desert. The man, named Manuel, is from the neighbouring country Guadelavita, where General Burgardo has assumed power after toppling President Gonzales. The general's men wanted to kill Manuel since he is a part of a rebel group that supports President Gonzales and want to bring him back to power. The Phantom decides to help the rebel group to remove General Burgardo from power.
