President Goranda is the president of Ivory-Lana, and a good friend of President Luaga of Bangalla as well as of the Phantom.

Fictional Character Biography

According to the Newspaper strip

Goranda and Lamanda Luaga became friends while studying in Oxford. Goranda became a lawyer, and later his his country's first president. The Presidents

He was inaugurated with President Luaga and Mr Walker in attendance. T Together with Luaga, Goranda later wed the Phantom and Diana. Phantom Wedding The Wedding of the Phantom

He is married to Eva Parelta, a childhood friend he reconnected with after he became president. Deadly Conspiracy

Behind the scenes

Goranda's name has been through many variations. In his first appearance he is referred to as Gorando, but later in the same story as Goranda, which is the most commonly used name. In "Mr Big", he is called Gorach.

Goranda's first name is given as Tolando in "The Presidents", Goran in "The Dakk Pirates", and his first initial is J. in "Crook's Haven". In Team Fantomen stories he is refered to as Abraham.
