Plot synopsis
At a New York party, Diana makes a bet for $100 with Carl who can first become a soldier and see battle. Diana applies to join the Jungle Patrol and Colonel Worubu allows her to take the initial tests for becoming a fresh recruit and then an officer. As a fresh officer of the Jungle Patrol, Diana is responsible for the JP office in Sotuland where she fights a gang of smugglers.

Behind the scenes
- Colonel Worubu is said to have succeeded Colonel Weeks "who only works part-time now". This was probably a way to explain to Fantomen readers why Worubu and Weeks both appeared as Colonel of the Jungle Patrol, which was actually caused by reprints of older stories with Weeks as colonel being used side by side with newer stories with his successor Worubu.
