'''''L'Uomo Mascherato''''' is an [[Italy|Italian]] book published in 1975 by [[Biblioteca Unviversale Rizzoli]] of Milan, for the series ''I Giganti del Fumetto'' (''The Giants of Comics'').

It was released as a 72-page black and white book. The contents were three consecutive [[daily stories]] from the 1950's, presented in unedited form. A five-page preface entitled "Un fantasma che cammina da quarant anni" ("A Ghost who walks since 40 years") is written by Ferruccio Alessandri, an Italian author of comics and graphic as well as a respected comics critic. The sale price was 1.500 Italian Lira. The cover artwork is part of a Wilson McCoy daily panel from September 28th, 1960.

Worker also wrote [http://www.poker-rooms-review.org poker rooms review] several other comics for the Scandinavian market, including "Hunter", published with 6 episodes in ''[[Agent X9]]'' before it was drastically changed, renamed to "Tybalt", and moved to ''[[Fantomen]]''. Worker wrote 21 "Tybalt" episodes. Worker also wrote the script for the comic "Albatross", which was produced directly for ''Fantomen''.

The Unknown Commander is the highest ranked officer in the [[Jungle Patrol]]. The Phantom is the unknown commander, and he issues most of his orders through the safe in his office, which he accesses via the [[Abandoned Well]]. He also communicates with the [[Jungle Patrol]] (normally through [[Colonel Worubu]]) using the radio [[X Band]], as a 'voice in the dark' at the Jungle Patrol Monument, or as an officer, with his face covered by sunglasses, a hat, and a trenchcoat with a lifted collar.
