Opinions on new story link template

I have added this template (based on one used at Transformers Wiki since I think it works really well there. It makes it possible to directly reference stories without having to use footnotes and lists of stories at the end of the article, and at the same time it doesn't take too much attention I think. The Bengali article still uses footnotes, but I think that when referencing stories, this template works better. If we were to use footnotes when we reference stories, we may very well end up with two lists with almost identical contents ("References" and "Appearances"). I have begun using this template in the following articles: Dogai Singh, Sandal Singh and Miss Tagama. Andreas 20:15, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

I Think this will work well on larger articles like Dogai Singh but on the smaller articles it seems a bit messy though its a problem easily solved by expanding the article Dark Lord Xander 23:32, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
I agree; most character articles are underdeveloped, so it may look a little messy at first but I think in the long run it will be a neat solution. Andreas 07:52, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
I have done some work on articles now where I've used this template. If it becomes too messy, we can use the option of shortening the link text (even more so than I've done so far), for example GotED instead of Guardian of the Eastern Dark Andreas 14:23, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
