A year with Covid-19 has left the Scandinavian Chapter without our usual sources of income. No meetings and no fairs equals zero income for us.

So if you are a Phan of the Phantom and like the service we provide to you and fellow Phans, through this PhantomWiki we therefore, for the first time ask you to donate to the cost of running it.
Due to the massive amount of pictures in here, the web storage costs us over 5 000 SEK per year.

All contributions, big or small, would be appreciated. You can donate easily and secure with the donate button in the left menu.

Writing style

Although I appreciate the hard work on this and related articles (presumably the work of one person), they would benefit from a revision regarding the writing style. As it is now, the plot summary is written more like a story of its own, with many notes and personal observations from the summarizer. Likewise there is a whole "Analysis" section that consists mainly of speculation and own research. Although writing this way is very entertaining, it deviates from the encyclopedic style that a wiki is supposed to adhere to.

I have been waiting for these articles to be "finished" so I could give some examples, but they seem to be constantly reworked on an almost daily basis :) Member 7 08:32, 6 February 2008 (CET)

I agree - especially about the "analysis" passage, which isn't encyclopedic material. I also think that the "plot" passage would benefit from rewriting. Hopefully this won't put any contributors down from participating any further. Pjär 13:40, 7 February 2008 (CET)
I agree with you two, the text uses words that does not feel encyclopedic to me. I have also noted that both this article and The Tyrant of Tarakimo has abundant with pictures, some whose quality is not so good. I feel that the article does not need that many pictures. Agreed an Article that size should only have the Main Template picture plus four or five reasonable or good quality pictures positioned at opposite sides of the page instead of all on the left also i have removed the analysis section as it isn't what the wiki is about --Dark Lord Xander4 08:49, 10 May 2008 (CEST)

Third story

Where does the info come from that says there could be a third Tarakimo story that was not by Lee Falk? The only producer of Phantom comics after this story was released was Fantomen in Sweden and they did not revisit Tarakimo as far as I know, and definetely not in a story reprinted by Indrajal Comics. Member 7 08:32, 6 February 2008 (CET)

The former edit provided some more information, although it was confusing: the so-called expanded ending does not appear in Indrajal Comics #351. I recognise the scenes described however, but I think that it's either part of the beginning of another story, or it is the actual end of this story. IC #351 ends rather abruptly. Anyway, I am almost 100% sure that it is daily strips by Falk & Barry and not anything created for IC by unknown artists.Andreas 17:59, 16 May 2008 (CEST)
After going through old stories lately, I found that what was described in earlier edits of this article as an "expanded ending" of this story by unknown artists, produced for Indrajal simply is the actual end of this story. Some reprints may have have omitted this epilogue though. Andreas 00:29, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Major Fix Up

Ok this isn't what and encyclopedia is supposed to look like i have fixed the images and tried to cull the unnecessary anitations whoever keeps writing these articles needs to be directed to the style guide and then to some other articles to see how to write an article correctly --Dark Lord Xander4 11:40, 16 May 2008 (CEST)

I have done a major edit and reduced the plot summary to the bare essentials. Feel free to go over it again and expand it a little and maybe add some pics if that feels needed. Andreas 17:59, 16 May 2008 (CEST)

good work now there is only Tyrant of Tarakimo and the few characters related to it to fix up --Dark Lord Xander4 00:57, 17 May 2008 (CEST)
