Nicola "Nick" Cuti is an American comics writer. A great part of his works was done for Charlton Comics, including one Phantom story.


Nicola "Nick" Cuti was born on October 29, 1944. His first written story was published in the horror comics magazine "Creepy".

Then he launched his own series Moonchild Comics in 1968 before he began to work prolificly for Charlton Comics, writing over 200 stories in three years. Amongst these works, he wrote one Phantom story entitled "The Beasts of Madame Kahn" (#68, December 1975)

After this Charlton period, he worked for Disney and Universal Studios, writing synopsis and novels. In 1973, he created with the artist Joe Staton his own comics superhero "E-Man".

In the 1980s, Cuti worked as storyboard assistant for the Defenders of the Earth TV series.
