Fantomen Krönika was a Swedish comic book dedicated to "The Phantom".
Fantomen Krönika began in 1993 and featured reprints of previously published Phantom stories. It ended in 2010, with a total of 100 issues published.
Originally, Fantomen Krönika only published historical stories, from stories set in the days of the first Phantom to stories set in the days of the 21st Phantom. When all historical stories were published, it started all over again, publishing the stories that had been made in the time it took to get through all the Phantoms, though some issues revolved around specific themes this time, only one with a specific theme had been printed during the first turn (Fantomen Krönika #20). When it was time for the third turn, the concept changed slightly and most issues featured stories around a specific theme instead of historical stories.
The editors were Ulf Granberg (issues 1–16 and 58), Björn Ihrstedt (issues 17–45, 62–65, and 90–100), Michael Jaatinen (issues 46–54), Petter Sjölund (issues 55–57), Henrik Brandendorff (issues 59–61), Kenneth Ekholm (issues 66–71), Mats Jönsson (issues 72–78), and Germund von Wowern (issues 79–89).
The first ten issues included short introduction stories by Ulf Granberg and Hans Lindahl. Fantomen Krönika #90 featured "The Island of Death"; the first and only new full-length story produced for Fantomen Krönika.
Between 1999 and 2003 six hardcover volumes, collecting the first five years of Fantomen Krönika, were published as Fantomen Krönika Band 1 to 5.
