The Phantom has received a tip that kidnappers are holding the businessman Dexter Powell prisoner in a house. When the Phantom attacks the house and the kidnappers, it turns out that it is a trap. Singh pirate Khermet holds him at gunpoint and introduces himself as the new leader of the Singh pirates after the death of Dogai Singh. After a scuffle the Phantom is free and the pirates drive off in a car.
Back at the Singh headquarters Khermet is advised that he must reassert himself as the Singh leader. One of the pirates speaks on the phone with an unknown person and is given instructions to undermine Khermet's position.
At the Singh headquarters a woman has asked to meet Khermet. Her name is Dalya and is a prostitute. She knows that Dogai Singh has a secret palace in the jungle where he kept his treasure - gold, jewellery and valuable paintings. In exchange for a part of the treasure Dalya is willing to give him the name of the pilot who flew her and other prostitutes to the secret palace.
The lakeside palace is located and Khermet and his men successfully attack the palace, shooting down the guards. A young female servant, Dhari, manages to escape. She is rescued by the Phantom who can not help but notice that she is wearing a necklace with the Good Mark around her neck. She tells him that Singh pirates have attacked the secret palace. The Phantom takes her to the Skull cave, then rides off to the palace. Left by herself in the Skull Cave, she places a tracking device on the Skull Throne. She tells Guran that she wants to go for a walk in the jungle by herself but Guran sends a Bandar warrior as an escort. The young servant girl quickly gets rid of the warrior and is then picked up by a helicopter where her body guard Belim addresses her as "Princess". She puts on a blonde wig - Dhari is the same woman as Dalya the prostitute. She gives orders to the helicopter that a second, heavily armed, helicopter shall attack the Skull cave.
Back in the Skull cave Guran is surprised to learn that the young woman ran off by herself. Devil wants to show him something, the tracking device on the Skull throne. Guran destroy it. The tracking device has been used to send a missile to blow up the cave. With the device destroyed the missile instead hit the jungle outside the cave.
In the palace, the Phantom finishes off the Singh pirates one by one, only Khermet is left when the strange woman appears, pointing a gun at both of them. She is neither Dalya nor Dhari but instead Sandal Singh, the scorned daughter of Dogai Singh. Her bodyguard Belim strangles Khermet and the Phantom is pacified with a poisonous dart. Before leaving she tells the Phantom that she will crush him if he would dare to challenge the Singh pirates again - then kiss the uncouncious Phantom on his cheek.
The Phantom returns to the Skull cave, convinced that he will meet Sandal Singh again.
