- This is the first Phantom story where the Phantom Treasure (located in what decades later would be called the Small Treasure Room) is mentioned and seen.
- The Phantom tells Manna, Whitey and the judge about the origin of the Phantom. This is the second time he's seen revealing it to anyone, the first being Diana i "The Singh Brotherhood" where he also states that the only ones allowed to know about it is the Phantom's eldest son, and his supposed wife.
