Behind the scenes
- The title "The Scorpia" appears in the first strip of the story.
- There is no connection between the name Scorpia and the animal scorpion, which often is the case in later stories featuring Scorpia.
- The Phantom very clearly strikes a Scorpia henchman with his left hand, but still leaves a skull mark.
