Terje Aspmo is an artist born in 1955.

Biography

He was born in Sulitjelma, Norway and later moved to Sweden. He is a world renowned airbrush artist whose work has appeared on cars, motorcycles, goalie masks aswell as magazine covers.

In 1989, Aspmo produced a piece of art featuring the Phantom and a crystal skull which he submitted to the Fantomen staff. By an uncanny coincidence, a Phantom story on the same theme was in production ("The Crystal Skull" by Scott Goodall and José Casanovas). Aspmo's art was then used as a poster in the issue featuring this story (Fantomen 10/1989). It can also be seen on the back cover of Frew's The Phantom #974.

In 1993, Aspmo returned to the Phantom as cover artist for Fantomen. Aspmo produced covers for Fantomen until 1995, and after that he made covers for Fantomets Krønike in 1996 and 1997.
