Goranda's name has been through many variations. In his first appearance he is referred to as Gorando, but later in the same story as Goranda, which is the most commonly used name. In "Mr Big", he is called Gorach.

Goranda's first name is given as Tolando in "The Presidents", Goran in "The Dakk Pirates", and his first initial is J. in "Crook's Haven". In Team Fantomen stories he is refered to as Abraham.
