Politikin Zabavnik is the name of a comic magazine and a publishing company in Serbia and former Yugoslavia.

Comic magazine

The comic magazine Politikin Zabavnik was launched in 1939. Since the start it has included various comics mixed with entertaining articles on popular subjects.

The magazine is published in Serbian with cyrillic alphabet (as Политикин Забавник) but editions in Slovenian and Serbian with latin alphabet have also appeared over the years. As of 2007, Politikin Zabavnik is still being published with over 2900 issues published in total.

"The Phantom" has appeared sporadically in Politikin Zabavnik since the 1970's into the 2000's. The stories have been newspaper strip stories or Team Fantomen stories. In total, "The Phantom" has appeared in 116 issues:

As publisher, Politikin Zabavnik has produced several popular comic books. Some of these have included "The Phantom", for example Strip and Denis.
