Phantom's Universe (Swedish: Fantomens universum) is a series of character dossiers.
History
The dossiers were produced by Team Fantomen from 2014 to 2016. These are not comic stories, but text articles, each dossier portraits a character from the history of Phantom comics, detailing the character's in-universe history, while also featuring a full body portrait created for the article, and basic data such as first appearance, base of operations, family, etc.
The idea was, much like similar character profiles for Marvel and DC Comics characters, to give a broader view of the Phantom's "Universe" and present not only main characters that appear frequently but also supporting and lesser known characters. During the first and second year, approximately half of the characters were male and half were female. Male, female, and animal characters were given one third each of the profiles during the third year.
The text is written by Andreas Eriksson, and the art is provided by Henrik Jonsson for the first year, then by Elin Jonsson for year two, and by Henrik Sahlström for the third year.
In 2018, two new installments were drawn by Reine Rosenberg and published in a volume of Fantomen - Den inbundna årgången.
In 2017, Frew began publishing Phantom's Universe as postcard-sized supplements for subscribers, and also added new dossiers.
