Promotion

Ad for Tegneserieministeriet.

In 2012, Egmont Serieforlaget created Tegneserieministeriet (The Ministry of Comics), an ad campaign to promote comics printed on paper. Ads featuring comic characters Donald Duck, Beetle Bailey and The Phantom were published in newspapers and magazines like Vi menn, Her og Nå, Motor, Kamille, Kamille Mor og Barn, Hjemmet og Norsk Ukeblad and Aftenposten

The Phantom ad showed the Phantom tying up the Windows Live Messenger icons to a tree, and included artwork from an upcoming cover by Sal Velluto.
