In the year 1986, a total of 26 issues of Fantomen were published.

Overview

During the year there was a competition named "Läskjakten" ("The Soda Hunt"). It was held with the beginning in #11 and appeared in every second issue until #19. Throughout the issue, seven bottles of "Fantomenläsk" where placed at different pages, including in the stories, the task was to name the pages.

The main cover artist was Rolf Gohs with 22 covers. The only other contributor was Hans Lindahl (4 covers). Only one of the covers did not display the Phantom in any way (Fantomen 7).
