Plot synopsis
In 1908, on Bengali Bay, the 19th Phantom single-handedly boards a pirate ship, wreaks havoc, and burns the ship. A young doctor observes this through a spyglass, then risks his own life to save the stranger from the water and the sharks. Day and night, he nurses his patient through fever and delirium. The Phantom then gives the doctor's right wrist the Good Mark. The Phantom explains that it is a "harmless dye from a jungle plant."
