History

"The Phantom" first appeared in Seura in 1959. Seura is a a weekly family magazine, but there used to be two double issues per year, one during summertime and one in the end of the year. Seura was retitled as Suur-Seura during a perioid from #40/1974 to #31/1979. The most of Phantom strips has been published in color, but there are also many weeks in black and white.
